Property Description

In a quaint courtyard hidden from the street, Il Cortiletto is a recently renovated and elegant property, situated in Como, with 2 bedrooms, a modern bathroom and a large lounge/kitchen area as well as a secluded garden. The property has free WiFi, is fully air-conditioned and sleeps up to 6 people thank to the large sofa bed in the living room.

This spacious holiday home has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and induction hob and large fridge freezer as well a host of small appliances – the property is non smoking.

The stylish living room area is equipped with a 55” Smart TV, a DVD player and an Xbox Games Console. The dining area has an extendable table with seating for at least 6 – 8 people.

Each bedroom has a double bed, the larger of the two has a 160cm x 200cm bed with the smaller one being 140cm x 200 cm. Both bedrooms have USB points by each bedside table to allow cell phone charging. Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home.

The property has an outdoor dining area under a Pergola where guests can relax – BBQ facilities including outdoor plates and cutlery are available.

Free Parking is available just outside the rear gate to the property (subject to availability).

Getting to Il Cortiletto and Getting Around:

By Car: The A9 motorway that connects you to Milan or Switzerland is 5 minutes away  – Exit ‘Lago di Como” – Milan Malpesna is the nearest airport and is just 50 km away.

By Train: Como San Giovanni and Como Lago stations are about 4 km away.

By Bus:  The bus stop is 3 minutes away near the lake and gets you to Como centre in 7-10 minutes. Tickets can be bought at the Petrol/Gas service station near the bus stop or any Tobacconist.

The Tavernola ferry stop (very important jetty connecting different towns along the lakes) are close by.

The proximity to both Como Centre and Cernobbio makes it very convenient:

Communal bicycles can be rented (by Card) near the Tavernola ferry stop.

Driving to the centre of Como takes just 7 minutes by car.

Other things to note:

ll Cortiletto is 2.1 km from Villa Olmo and 3.7 km from Volta Temple and just a two minute walk from the Tavernola Ferry Stop.

The famous Villa Olmo promenade connects the neighbourhood to Como city centre, crossing the beautiful park via the lake path – with truly spectacular scenery. This lakeside path is a must for tourists and locals, especially for walking and jogging – the walk should take 35 to 40 minutes to Como centre.

Cernobbio is just a 12 minute walk away.

Villa Erba and Cernobbio Exhibition and Congress Centre is just a a 10 minute walk from the property.

Como Cathedral, the Basilica of Sant’Abbondio and Basilica of San Fedele are all within 5.5 km.

Broletto is 5.5 km from the property.

Shops & Facilities

The Bennet shopping mall is close by,  a 7 minute walk, with a large supermarket, clothes shops ( i.e. Bata, Sisley, Benneton) and an ATM.

The Gran Mercato supermarket is 2 minutes away.

A Post Office, Pharmacy and Flower shop are all within easy walking distance.
